Kingsmarch Map Runners

Not sure if this is a bug or if I am just really unlucky. My map runners have 1% chance to be permanently killed in the map. However, I have had a map runner die 4 consecutive days in a row...each time, they had not completed a full 12 map cycle. These are max level runners. I find it impossible to think that I could hit 4 1% chances in a row. With that luck, I should be seeing mirrors drop...which I havent.
