Make Mapping Great Again

Dear GGG,

this is coming from a player who has a massive amount of love for this game.

In the last 2 years you guys have made so many Gamedesign decisions for endgame mapping that all culminate in the end game loop of mapping feeling more and more awful with every league since T17´s have been introduced and have peaked for me now with T16.5s and the nerf to loot is Keepers.

I feel like so many design decisions concerning Map Mods in T16.5s and T17s are being made with the intention of making hard gameplay rewarding but in reality have turned into endgame feeling like a massive slugfest that tries everything in its power to make the mapping experience as annoying as possible and put as much friction on gameplay as possible. You are trying to make the game hard, instead you are just creating something that feels like work.

Petrification statues, reduced action speed per attack, Grasping vines on hit...the list of things that just make the game feel like absolute dogshit goes on.

On top of that you take Breach, a mechanic that i considered just the absolute pinacle of blasting fun and turned it into walls that block movement abilities...again, more friction, less fun.

All I want to do as a long term fan is to blast maps, have fun and get rewarded decently for my time spent. None of that is true right now.

I hope you guys take this criticism into account when you hopefully rework endgame mapping. I just love this game and dont want to feel like the game hates me for playing it.
