Feedback on Keepers

Great league, I'm enjoying it. I don't play like a blaster and like to do multiple builds without finishing one, and all the new stuff with Foulborns really feeds into that.
Although I'm enjoying the league, I'm also kinda not.
I'll list a couple of the cons that I think are somewhat important, then I'll list a couple of pros.

CONS.
-Genesis Tree is too strong and too mandatory. It is great when the majority of the people can get good gear without breaking the bank, but also a little bit like it ruins a lot of the economy. I'm used to grab some items that have good rolls, benchcraft some random thing to make it a little nicer and sell it, that is almost not possible this league, because pretty much everything is a well rolled and decent item, so everything goes for like 5c. Also, it generates bad expectations for new players that (if they stick around) they will most likely see a nerfed version of this that is going to not be as powerful.

-Breach Defenses and Hives. They are the most boring thing I've played since Necropolis. Having to stop, wait for the monsters and then get barely anything (sometimes not even Wombgifts) is just boring. Even as a non-blaster is boring, I enjoy Blight, and I don't mind doing it because it is worth for at least some capacity of a reward. Breach is just not worth doing unless is the basic hand that everyone loves.

-No loot league. I had more than 400divs this league (Got lucky and Ritual blessed me with a couple of House of Mirrors). Non of those. NON have been a natural drop. All coming from sells or high reward mechanics like Ritual. That just feels really REALLY bad. I see a lot of people saying that this is because you removed Mercs and I don't totally agree with that. I had multiple divine drops from random monsters before Merc League, I play a lot of campaing because I level up a lot of characters and have seen multiple div drops during those campaings, I am an alch and go type of guy with not really a lot of investment into one mechanic like other people and have seen multiple drops before Mercs. But this league NONE. Literally not a single one, I got one Exalted from a random chest, but that was the most exciting drop I had.

-T16.5, T17s and Kingsmarch are still in the game. Please remove, is just shit content. No one likes T17s, it makes building random shit without a guide way harder, it bottlenecks builds and removes variety because every build needs to be able to do T17s or at least T16.5 which is the same garbage. If you check it up, build variety declined a lot after the introduction of these and everyone ends up playing the same 3 builds. And Kingsmarch is almost mandatory with how little loot is dropping, if you are not doing KM you are going to always be behind the curve, is such a toxic mechanic that forces you into pay attention to it because is that good. I know is optional like Delve, but Delve does not give free things away for going to sleep after giving some gold to Johan. Please remove, they are NOT fun.

-Spellcasting and Bows are in an awful spot. I like when balancing feels like you can do whatever and get to a good spot, and then have some overperformers. I hate when something is just not viable. Pick chaos dot spells and you are going to have a 30 minute fight with the Maven, pick bows and your clear is going to be great if you follow the only viable build. But pick melee and you can play whatever and will get far. Play triggers, or any proxy build and you are going to be fine. It just feels really bad, and I say this being a melee enjoyer.

-The powercreep of the defensive meta. I love being a chunky boy that takes ages to be killed. I hate when everybody is a chunky boy because there is no other thing to do. Every single build is going into a more defensive path every single league. Because you guys keep adding content that force you into this (i.e. T17s, Valdo's). I know there is people out there who play glass cannons and everything. I do that. But I hate when half of the players are doing the same. Everybody caps block now, everybody has 90% max res, everybody has 40k armour/evasion. This things used to matter before, now what it matters is how many layers of defense you give a character. Before you couldn't have all of them, so you needed to invest heavily into one or maybe two.

-GOLD. GIVE MORE GOLD. Man, there is nothing more shitty that farming to sell some items to get some Chaos to then convert into Divines (using gold) to then go buy that unique that you wanted and not be able because gold is super scarse if you don't do T17s. I know people are going to say that you can still trade the old way which does not cost any gold. Fuck that. Having to interact with 30 people that are not responding and then overpaying an item because of that is so stupid. Also some of the gold spent in a transaction should go to the seller, to keep gold moving instead of it being a sink, we have Kingsmarch, gambling and respecs a sink, the new trade system should be a way to keep gold moving, not just make it go away.

-Server stability has been painful.


PROS
-The Genesis Tree is super powerful. You get free currency, free uniques, free good gear. Is nice. And I love the Foulborn system, mostly because I'm a reroller. Is really good for SSF players.

-Kingsmarch is so rewarding is stupid to not put it a pro. If you are SSF you love it, if you are not, you also love it. It gives so much. I fucking hate it, but can't do without it.

That's all for the pros.

I want to add a couple of other things regarding some other mechanics:

Harvest- It sucks when monsters don't drop at least 1 Lifeforce. Fuck that 0 drop crop.

Expedition- This went from being good and solid, to just be poor if you invest in it. Rog does not matter in trade and with a crafting league even less. Gwennen is overshadowed by Faustus. Tujen gives shit and Dannig is just there.

Ritual- is just fishing for Perfect corpses and Nameless rituals, everything else is just boring.

Blight- Monsters are too slow to get out of the portals.

Harbinger- Why the hell we still have Engineering orbs in the game.

Beyond- Too rippy for little reward. Monsters are fast, hit like a truck, drop nothing.

Essences- Have little value this league, but they are actually ok.

Delirium- Remove the 25 and 35 increased effect from clusters please, without that you need to fish for very specific combinations.

Campaing- Still boring and too slow. Has to be said even if I love running it.

EDIT: I want to add things about Ascendacies aswell.

Guardian- No one plays it really.
Hierophant- Is just Archmage Ascendancy tbh.
Inquisitor- Really good.

Occultist- Could do better, but it is ok. Would be insane if Chaos DoT would be good.
Elementalist- Fucking broken because of the golem thing, without that is just good.
Necromancer- Fucking boring Ascendancy mate.

Assassin- The rework is not good, is focussed into CoC and Perfect Agony.
Trickster- Still really strong, you nerfed the wrong things, Escape Artist is the broken thing.
Saboteur- The forgettable one.

Deadeye- Is alright, nothing really special.
Pathfinder- Why would you play that if MB exists.
Warden- There was another forgettable one?

Slayer- Really strong, but not really broken, I like it.
Champion- Really strong, but not really broken, I like it.
Gladiator- Half broken, half shit. If you don't play bleed or Retaliation don't pick it. Lucky block is sooo fucking broken.

Juggernaut- The one to do strength/accuracy stacking on and nothing else
Berserker- The angry one.
Chieftain- 5 incredible broken nodes, an ok one, and then the jewel one that who the hell designed that? That person needs to be fired.

Ascendant- Really nice to be able to play with everything. Hate that it is too expensive to do something relevant with her.
