Cannot find Nameless Seer with dedicated Atlas, Scarabs & Packsize-Maps to find him.

My Setup to find him:
https://imgur.com/a/WZsDVJs

And some number crunching to start off:
Leveled from 98-99
Killed about 500.000 Monsters
Ran 137 Maps, 100 Normal 8-mods & 37 16.5 40%+ Packsize Chiseled deli Maps.

Besides running the BiS Scarabs, i also tried domination shrines only & a bunch of other different combinations that were tailored specifically to max the spawn chance of the Nameless Seer. The knowledge i have is that the Seer will hop onto a natural spawned Monsterpack and when you killed the last Monster of whatever pack he has chosen, he would appear. So the Scarabs i posted should be BiS. But he does not exist anymore. YES, i know and i have full cleared every Maps, even ran the Map twice, when there were leftover Monsters!

I'm at this point that i have to say, remove him and introduce a different way to swap Divcards to another map, because this is legit bullshit. I struggled before, with the same strategies to find him. Had to run between 30-80 Maps to find him. Now i cannot even find him at all, the 80+ maps is to much.
My analogy is: I sit in a Casino pulling levers!
Which i would never do in real live, because i hate gambling!

All i wanted is to swap my favorite map to Toxic Sewers because i wanted to farm juicier harby/beyond maps. First time i scoured my Seer of off my Maps to switch it, big mistake as it turned out i can't find him anymore. I'm sure GGG made him super rare on Maps with good Divcards.

I cannot understand why we have Ruthless, a mode tailored and made for super tryhards, but we still have stuff like this in the normal Game.

In my opinion, having to do more than 30 maps just to make a simple divcard swap so you can continue farming your endgame strats, is not respecting your time. I would be ok with, when the League starts, and you first fill out your Atlas and setting up your favorite Maps and strats, that the initial Seer find should be rare, but after that he should be appearing more often. You can split the Legendary items and Scrying maps, so it's balanced.

For now, i'm out - rage-quitting!

Edit:

!!! I FOUND THE SOLUTION !!!

So apparently, after researching the reason why i cannot get the Seer to spawn, it has something to do with Eater, Exarch & Maven influence that you would click on from your Map-device.

DO NOT USE EATER, EXARCH OR MAVEN INFLUENCE ON THE MAP-DEVICE, NEVER - leave this turned off:
https://imgur.com/a/zluiQsg

It will interfere with the Seer for some reason and GGG needs to fix that ASAP!

My Setup and my opinion of the BiS stuff to find him:
https://imgur.com/a/WZsDVJs

After i ran it with my Scarabs that i posted and the Atlas, he spawned after the second Map, after i stopped clicking the Eater of World influence from the Map-device.

So things that influence Seer spawns:

Natural inhabitants of the Map - Shrines, Ritual & the Scarabs that are used also count as Natural Mobs for the Seer.
Then last but not least %Monster-packsize, the higher, the better!
So 8-Mod-Maps are not required, just high packsize maps!
You don't have to, but i would also chisel your Maps, it has great synergy with the "Chiselled Perfection" & the other nodes from the Atlas-tree.
If someone knows what other content can force the Seer to spawn, and if it would help to block certain Mechanics, feel free to add it in here.

Things i cannot confirm:
Item-quantity - some people say it affects Seer spawns, item-rarity is not mentioned at all anywhere. And since i know now, that if you put Eater, Exarch or Maven influence on the Map, that it will interfere with Seer spawns, i don't believe that this is true at all.
Strongboxes - some said they spawned him with Strongbox-Mobs, i cannot confirm that tho.
It would only be 3 notes on the Tree just to get the baseline 3 Boxes, same with Shrines, so take it or leave it.

Also, if it's early in the League or you want cheaper alternatives:
Take the Ritual nodes on the Tree to make sure you get 100% Ritual chance so you remove the 5c Map-device cost.
Furthermore, for cheaper Scarabs, remove the "expensive" ones (always depends on which Scarabs are popular at that time obviously), and put in Monstrous Lineage Scarabs instead. These boost magic packsize, they always stay fairly cheap compared to some others used in this Setup. What you could also do to make it super cheap, but less effective, running 4x Domination + one other of whatever else is the cheapest that i mentioned throughout this post. Because the baseline Domination Scarab will never reach over 1c, and you can use four of them. Just mix and match of whatever Scarabs i mentioned that are cheap.
Random example - 2x Domination, 1x Incursion Scarab of Invasion, 1x Monstrous Lineage & 1x Adversaries. You know, just take what you have or what's cheapest, but of course the BiS Scarabs will have the highest chances.

Atlastree order of importance:

Take all the "Map modifier effect", "Map magic Monsters", Map Pack size", "Map rare Monsters" nodes, take "Chiseled Perfection" & Chisel your Maps, take the Ritual chance nodes(Baseline is 10%, so you need 90%, if you block a mechanic that adds 2% baseline for each blocked mechanic), take the baseline Strongbox node "Twice Tempted", take the baseline Shrine node "Supplication", take the node "Invasive Adversaries", after that everything else is your decision, i went with all Map, Scarab, Quant & Rarity nodes, but its up to you, you can make your Shrines stronger for more Character power or whatever else you would like.
Block or skip Mechanics that would slow you down, you want to run the maps fast, like 3 minutes at max, make sure you full clear, because of how the Seer appears - the last Monster, of whatever Monsterpack he has chosen, that you kill will spawn him.
Don't forget - Eater of Worlds or Searing Exarch nodes are not needed, because you don't want to turn that on, on your Map-device!

Okay, i hope that helps out some people - good luck on your Seer find Adventure!

Please GGG is that intended, if you click the Eater, Exarch or Maven Buttons from the Map-device, that it would hinder the Seer from spawning or at least lower the chances drastically?
If so - please fix!

I was experiencing this for awhile on defiled cathedral, I ran about 60 of them, didn't find him, I switched to a new map for 1-2 maps then back again and he showed up.

Also, I was using red altars (people say blue is better for spawning him idk why)

Look at it like this, make your goal right now to find seer. I also didn't run any scarabs other than bestiery and influence pack size scarabs. Once you find him, you can happily farm in your favorite layout as long as you want!

I took map drop nodes, shrines, and some map effect with beasts (because I'm a beast farmer).

If you quit, you have 0% chance to find the seer.

Not that i remember, maybe one, i can't recall tho, i just blasted as fast as i could, and looked at the in game chat, if the Seer lines appeared there after each map, so i might have missed some.
Why you asking, btw?

I thought that because they share the same spawn mechanic, the Seer and the Reflecting Mists might be in the same pool. That in the game logic some (probably low) percent of Reflecting Mists that rolled might be getting transformed into Seers and that was how the spawn was determined.

Congrats on getting him to show up!

Thank you, i actually didn't know that. Well, the Seer was so hard to spawn, because of influencing the map with exarch, eater or maven from the Map-device. I don't know why, but it's a fact, i ran some more maps without the Map-device options and i consistently getting seers. Idk if that is intended or not, i consider this as a bug and GGG will hopefully fix it.

I used searing exarch and had no issues finding him, like I said in my post. There are guides on YouTube and other places that have conflicting information with your "do not ever do that" info.

I think the reality is that none of them have anything to do with it and that it's just rng.

My personal feeling is that each pack has a chance to spawn either Seer or Reflecting Mirror. Adding more packs -> more chance to get them. I had several maps this league that popped both Seer + Mirror and I had some heavy duty atlas strategies around Domination.
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
