I have conceptualized a league idea for Path of Exile (PoE) and used AI to help me organize it. The goal is to rebalance unique items and ensure that builds which currently suffer from insufficient damage can be played comfortably. Please help me identify any areas where the proposal is lacking.


Path of Exile: The Soul Sacrifice League
We are excited to announce Path of Exile's upcoming challenge league: The Soul Sacrifice League. In this league, you must choose your path: Accumulate Pure Souls to enhance the bounty of Rare monsters, or Sacrifice powerful souls to face brutally empowered Bosses for the ultimate currency to reshape Unique Items!

League Mechanic: Soul Polarization
In every map, you will find two spiritual energies pulling at each other, affecting monster behaviour and drops. This state is displayed via a visual "Solution Orb" UI.

1. Soul Charge - Left Vial
Trigger: Killing White Mobs in the map.

Effect: Accumulating the Left Vial (Soul Charge) applies a buff to Magic and Rare monsters:

Drop Enhancement: Significantly increases the Item Rarity (IIR) of these monsters, boosting the output of currency and rare items.

Clear Assistance: Increases the damage you deal to these buffed monsters.

Strategy: Encourages The Harvester playstyle, focusing on stacking IIR and clearing White Mobs to cash out on enhanced Rare Mobs for stable returns.

2. Divine Empowerment - Right Vial
Trigger: Killing Magic Mobs and Rare Mobs in the map.

Effect: Accumulating the Right Vial (Divine Empowerment) results in:

Boss Infusion: Greatly increases the final map Boss's damage, life, and adds more Boss Modifiers. When the Right Vial is full, the Boss is considered "Divinely Infused."

Strategy: Encourages The Challenger playstyle, focusing on single-target damage and survivability to claim the league's top currency.

League Reward: Divine Fragments
Divine Fragments are the core currency of the Soul Sacrifice League, representing the essence of Behemoth and God souls compressed to the extreme.

Acquisition:

Drops from all Magic and Rare monsters.

Guaranteed large drops from killing a "Divinely Infused" Boss.

Drop quantity is directly influenced by the player's Item Rarity (IIR) attribute.

Use: Used to perform the Divine Infusion Craft on Unique Items, allowing for extreme value polarization.

Divine Infusion Craft Details (Polarization)
Consuming one Divine Fragment rerolls all numerical modifiers on a Unique Item with an extreme outcome, embodying the principle of Polarization and Sacrifice:

Empowerment: Randomly selects one numerical modifier to be enhanced, potentially exceeding its original numerical cap.

Sacrifice: Randomly selects another numerical modifier to be weakened, potentially dropping to 0 or even turning negative (e.g., +30% Cold Resistance becomes -10% Cold Resistance).

Exclusive Unique Item: Blank Space, Ethereal Ring
The Blank Space, Ethereal Ring is an extremely rare and high-risk gamble piece that pushes the potential of Divine Infusion to its limit.

Base Type: Ethereal Ring (A new league-exclusive Ring Base).

Core Ability: Randomly acquires six numerical abilities from other Unique Rings.

Exclusive Fixed Mod: "Divine Polarization Law"

When a Divine Fragment is used, this Ring will simultaneously Empower TWO numerical modifiers but Sacrifice only ONE numerical modifier (A net 2:1 ratio).

Non-Numerical Mod Transformation: If the Ring acquires a non-numerical mod (e.g., +1 Curse Limit or Immunity to Burning), that mod is transformed into a polarizable numerical attribute upon Infusion (e.g., transformed into Curse Effect % or Damage taken as Life Recovery).

The Vaal Endgame Gamble
Upon Vaal Corrupting the Ring:

The Ring becomes locked, and Divine Fragments can no longer be used.

Corruption has a chance to remove the unique "Divine Polarization Law" fixed mod and replace it with a Ring-exclusive implicit Corruption Mod (e.g., +1 to Maximum Frenzy Charges).

Corruption may still fail, turning the item Rare or destroying it.
