Gamestate is fun

Failing a 1/15 for 40+ times ist fun, right into failing a 1/6 20 times in a row.
Getting nothing in terms of drops because no currency drops from actual monsters anymore.

Then waking up to completely untested changes to the game, that would literally take 2 seconds to notice, that its dumb (sirus in feared just preventing you from moving).

Please continue with this fun and interactive way of the game.
Or just tell me that you dont care about poe1, so i can finally just quit ggg forever.

Thanks.

Perhaps the currency drop rate had to be lowered because too many players are now managing to drop pure mirrors, etc.
In this context, one could say that it was perhaps implemented in a crude way, so that the average player is also deprived of drops, as opposed to programming a kind of diminishing return in a balanced way.
But maybe it also has to do with actual future plans to make the whole thing much better and healthier for the average player, and it's not directly possible to implement that without removing certain things first, especially considering how confusing the entire game code must have become after all these years.
PoE1 has already gone through such a phase several times.

Because it doesn't seem to have anything to do with there not being ways and methods to generate a crazy amount of currency, but rather with there simply being no “ground loot,” or at least not enough of it, which upsets many people.
In other words, it's not about earning currency, but about not getting enough currency from the ground loot.

Personally, I don't care because I don't care what I grind, as long as it brings me the most currency, at least from the things my PC can handle.
But obviously, there seem to be really a lot of players for whom this is not the case.

On the one hand, it is way less for SSF people, but then on the other - why would they need so much currency to begin with? What are you gonna do with 100 divines, for example?

Are you referring to me? Or what exactly are you referring to?

Quite simply, to buy enough mirrors from the market to mirror every gear slot that can be mirrored, so that you have the best in slot everywhere, even up to cluster jewels. Or to be able to buy corrupted items in this price range, if it is the best in slot.

That's absolutely right, which is why we want the game to be fun again for as many players as possible, if not all of them.

Yeah but no need to be sarcastic when putting in feedback just shoot it straight.

With the introduction of the Currency Exchange and Async trade, it is expected for currency to have a better flow in the game's economy, I think this is the reason why they reduced drop rates.

But for people in SSF it does suck...
Pff, who even plays Standard?

I posit a different hypothesis: Perhaps GGG wants to encourage players to explore other game content to generate wealth that doesn't boil down purely to raw currency drops.

Sanctum was once the most popular league for printing currency. What did GGG do about it? They nerfed it so divine reward rooms are less common and announced they plan to add a valuable (non-currency) reward later.

Risk scarabs and raw currency drops in T17 maps are currently the most popular high-level strategy in the game that outperforms every other league. GGG's solution? Greatly limit risk scarabs and chop currency orb drops.

I think GGG is trying to greatly restrict the influx of currency being generated in the game to combat the inflation that inevitably always happens as leagues continue on.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

That could actually be the case. I hadn't thought of it that way until now.

But then the question would be how this hypothesis can be reconciled with the fact that Breach 2.0, since it is more or less spread across half the map, interferes so much with other farming methods that you can't really farm properly.
How am I supposed to farm Red Beasts and Heist contracts and Blueprints when that damn thing is right in my face and costs me seconds? On a map where it takes less than a minute to complete, that's a pretty high percentage of my income.
I'm not going to farm all day so I can afford my 2 Mirrors at the end of the day if this shitty league mechanic costs me Mirrors. How stupid is that?
The fact that I even have to see that crap is already annoying enough, I don't even want to have to run through it. An entrance door to such an area and a breach pillar would be completely sufficient. At least that doesn't interfere with farming.
GGG themselves said they want players to have the freedom to farm what they want and then they make a league mechanic like that, man, what were they thinking?
