Letter to Jonathan_GGG

Hello Sir,

I am writing to you to bring to your attention that something bad has happened with fracturing shard drops from harbingers, I have been farming t16 maps with full harbi atlas and even juiced to the gills with scarabs and after a few days of doing that a ridiculus amount of hours per day I still do not have a single fracturing shard let alone an orb. I have farmed like 25 annuls and 25 ancient orbs so I'm thinking something wrong happened with fractures, are they still in the game?

You having bad luck doesn't correlate with game modes. Literally zero difference between softcore trade and hcssf.

Harbinger has always been a consistent profit strategy that depends heavily on luck. Some players may receive shards and full orbs frequently, while others can go hundreds of maps without seeing any.

That’s simply how RNG works.

25 Ancient Orbs isn't a whole lot and in no way, shape or form indicative of how many Fracturing Shards you should have dropped along the way.

Playing HCSSF doesn't change that.

No, he is saying that the amount of harbi farming you have done is a very small sample size, based on your self-reported metric of "25 ancient orbs".

It may have taken you a long time, it may have been hard for your build. Good job. But that doesnt change the fact that the fractured orbs are rare, and the you need to farm significantly more ancient orbs before you can statistically expect a fracture drop.

25 ancient orbs is what? about 10 maps. That is absolutely nothing.

Run 8-mod maps with at least 45% pack size. I also found more fracturing shards when I dropped one harbringer scarab for wisp scarab (but that is purely anecdotal). In general, I did about 20-30 harb maps this leaugeu and got almost 2 full fracturing orbs.
