Loot balance is making parts of SSF very depressing

Balancing loot drops around the existence of trade is making the build space in SSF limited and demotivating. Destroying any and all unique farming strategies because "whatever buy it" is not fun. Juicing unique monsters to the absolute gills with effectively 500% more life and damage only to result in a "loot explosion" of a single chance orb and a Wurms Molt is not fun.

I'm well aware you don't consider SSF players at all when making balancing decisions and sure that's fair, it's a self-imposed challenge played by a minority but the game is always more fun when there are realistic avenues for more self-made characters.

SSF is a SELF imposed challenge mode, it always has been and always will be.
It doesnt mean u should play full party all day long to hear tinks. The way GGG choose (hope i wrong) is boring for players. Why should anyone play boring game? And 3.27 with all my love to poe1 is disgusting.

Yep, 3.26 was way more fun and rewarding for playing endgame strats. As for SSF in 3.26 one could farm scarabs for any strat he wanted to play and not rely on Faustus.

Well, when people played 3.26 SSF and started this league expecting the same amount of loot but found none (except from tree) that is snother thing. GGG chnged this league currency drops and engame strats way too drastically.

There are crafting leagues (Harvest, Necropolis) and there are blasting leagues (Affliction, Settlers). Settlers has been running a long time so people have gotten used to those drops. It's understandable they notice a stark difference, but as I do not tire to lay out time and time again, loot is fine.

What you get from trees in terms of equipment, and the power of foulborn uniques and 2 new equipment slots via Grafts, more than makes up for fewer raw currency dropping on the floor in maps.

And on the high end, there are still endgme juicing strats that clutter your screen with good loot

This seems like a weird league for this complaint, the tree literally lets you force uniques to drop and that + kingsmarch are how a lot of people are getting T0s and mirrors even in trade.

Whether that's a good loot decision is a different thing, but that's an entirely separate discussion than availability of loot in SSF.

E: There's gambling at Faustus limited to the base you want too, like this is one of the most convenient-for-specific-uniques leagues I've seen and the tree just poops out god-tier rares and fractured bases at higher levels of gifts.

Didnt they already correct this assumption in a QnA a few Leagues back?
As in, they never said that.
This argument is named again an again at SSF Players, even in cases when its completely justified feedback of things feeling off all of a sudden.
