Controller bug with sentinel in hive encounters

If you pick up a sentinel and attempt a breach hive/fortress the "use sentinel" action takes priority (it has the same input) and you cannot interact with the skills Ailith drops. Also using the sentinel does not allow interacting after it is used just prevents you from using the skills if you pick up a sentinel while using a controller.
