Accidentally lost all my atlas runners instantly

When I went to rescue my 6 t5 atlas runners from Sasan, I accidentally clicked on the portal the second I entered the area. Now my runners are dead, there is literally nothing I can do about it, and I am out hundreds of thousands of gold in rerolls. This should be changed so that there is at least a conformation text box asking if you want to give up the rescue attempt.

I thought I remember them adding a warning with "Ok/Cancel" if you accidentally clicked a pirate portal during Settlers league? Did a recent patch revert this change for some reason? Or am I just imagining this qol change lol

Really sucks that the game didn't ask you "are you sure" on the portal though, that's hundreds of thousands of gold of rerolls to get a full team of rank 5 mappers.
