Breach 2.0 is pointless after getting to Maps
|
No rewards in map, a lot of people are just skipping it now. The main mechanic for this league :|
Maaaybe something good from the tree, but a lot of people are getting high-tier items from it so it's tough to sell anything which isn't insane. The grafts add some good power to some builds, only positive once you've geared for a bit. Last bumped on Nov 16, 2025, 3:13:07 PM

5-to-1 vendor recipe all graft and equipment wombgifts, they're useless. At least then you have a chance to get the mysterious, currency and unique ones. Then you just use those and hope for a big drop from currency/unique, and spec into being able to grow whichever is your favorite from mysterious wombgifts, I reglarly get my Mysterious ones to drop 2x Ancient Wombgifts specced into that. Some foulborn and double-foulborn uniques sell for 50+ divs. Those are the big jackpots.
And there's lots of loot from normal breach encounters, and a lot of gold. Its always worth it to do them, its because of breach that I was even able to make enough gold for my Kingsmarch to keep running lol, thanks to all that gold I was able to send like 6-7 divine shipments every day on leaguestart, and 2 mirror shard shipments so far. Easily invested 122 divs into my build, and gambled away another 10 divines on stacked decks. This league is the most currency I've ever made as a casual alch&go player. The loot explosions are so huge from breach I gotta keep pressing Z and move around to pick up all the things. Ofc you won't see any loot if your filter is Uber-Strict or something. Skipping breach and not picking up the scarabs, currency etc. it drops is a waste, not to mention all the gold it drops. |

" Oh, you are so so wrong about this one. |

" They literally are though unless you get a lucky fracture, and even then they're cheap. Rares with T1 mods are dirt-cheap this league cus the tree generates infinity amount of them. The only good item I ever got was a fractured Bone Ring with a t1 minion mod on them, which is very specific and then I never got a single good item out of the equipment ones lmao Its good that they added this vendor recipe, ain't no way I'm spending hours reading grafts from my 40 wombgifts for graft items, trying to figure out what sells for the most while putting in their stats into the trade filters every time. That would take an eternity. Like I put up a graft for 70c and kept reducing and reducing to 20c nobody bought it then I took it out and vendored. If an item doesn't sell in like an hour it ain't worth even being in my merchant tab. Which is why I always undercut by a lot on everything. Last edited by Toforto#2372 on Nov 16, 2025, 2:37:31 PM

You are literally describing being lazy when reading or checking prices. That doesn't mean the mechanics themselves are bad for making currency

" I tried the equipment tree out for a bit, didn't make anything worth selling. Thus its bad in my eyes. I don't wanna look at spreadsheets or guides for "ThE bEsT wAy To MaKe Gg ItEmS", I despise overcomplicated crafting systems which is why I also never interacted with Necropolis's crafting, just sold the expensive corpses to people that wanted to use em lol, and that was still nice profit for me. Like the problem with the tree is that it makes so many high-tier items that everything is seemingly 1c, or impossible to price. I dunno how to price items, we need an in-game price checker where you can just ctrl+c->ctrl+v an item into the asynch market interface and instantly check for a list of similar items sorted by price, like an Auction House would in an MMO. They did talk about that a bit in the livestream Q&A of the Keepers reveal so it may come in 3.28 hopefully. Because right now if I set an item for sale and it doesn't sell after like 3 undercuts then I just vendor it, no clue what else to do with it since it might aswell be useless to me. I had like 5 legion jewels sitting at 1 div each in my merchant tab all league, they never sold so I vendored them lmao, stuff like this is why we need easy price-checking in-game. Items and crafting have just gotten way too complicated. |

Certain grafts sell for big money, and some of the easier deterministic crafts can rain currency like crazy. The tree alone gives you solid gear you can slap on your character and coast for a while without worrying about upgrades.
Yeah no, Breaches aren’t pointless once you hit maps. They provide dirt-cheap gear and a good amount of basically free currency. The tree only stops being “worth it” if you don’t know how to value items, can’t use the gear section to craft deterministically strong pieces for your current stage or profit crafting, fail encounters due to suboptimal characters, or simply don’t have the juice because you haven’t really engaged with the mechanics. For real, the tree alone can carry you all the way to endgame before you even start min-maxing by hand-picking crafting bases. Gearing has never been this easy.
