Genesis Tree cant make jewels barely anymore, ninja nerf or bug?

Check out this post, where I also have links to 2 more PoE Forum posts on this issue, and people in the comments confirming. Sine the last major patch, suddenly the 85% less nodes barely affect the ability to remove most gear and only drop jewels. Only maybe 1/6 items that drop are jewels, with the perfect tree for it from Sirgog that worked for weeks before this. Can a dev at least confirm this is what happened?
