Question about supporter packs

I'm a new player and I'm at the point that I really need to buy tabs like the maps tab for example to really enjoy the game. I'm planning to spend $60 ~ $100 on a supporter pack to get the most bang for my buck. The only problem is I am not super thrilled for any of the current supporter packs, I've been told that according to the date it is believed that soon they might rotate the core supporter packs? Is it possible to get any info on that because that's holding me back at the moment from buying. Thank you for your help!
