Map Runners Ransom Portal Placement

I had my mappers kidnapped (five tier 5 + one tier 4) and when I entered the boss fight, I misclicked and left the zone and lost them all.

The portal placement seemed really close to where you spawn in. I think would be really great to get warning about leaving (like the Starfall Crater zone) and placing the player spawn location farther away in the Sasan encounter.
