Corruption makes T17s worthless

The decision to let the Cartography Scarab of Corruption affect t17 - and t16.5 - maps is horrible, makes them completely unusable. Why the heck would you do that?

? no.....

You have it backward: if you are HUNTING uncorrupted t17s you wouldn't be using this scarab in the first place.

But if you want a ton of corrupt 8mod t16s with over 100% quant this is still the right scarab to use: and occasionally you might drop a super juicy and valuable t16.5 or 17 with a corrupted implicit.

Or you have a build that can run most t17 mods and this makes zero difference.

It's entirely dependent on what YOU want out of the scarab...and then also what your build can handle. For everything else, there's trade. Your feelings are coming from your own improper use / planning.

I'm using badly corrupted ones for T17 boss rushing with Twist of Fate allocated since this allows to roll above 250% quantity and somewhere above that you'll drop a fourth uber fragment.

A fellow twist of fate enjoyer. Always good to see. And OP this is the answer. People still use the maps, sure if your build can handle twist of fate.

Returning to poe in 3.27: ATROCIOUS game performance, 5/10 league and I apprently missed the loot back in the last league. The more things change the more they stay the same..
