Merged my account from pc to my xbox poe2 account and lost everything...

Wanted to try the first poe out and downloaded it on steam went to go merge steam account to my xbox account and it deleted all of my characters and purchases and even what points i had left in shop from my poe2 account for xbox including even my bonuses from my founders package and on the website it still has my purchases and points in the shop. My question is just why when i was merging my steam account into my xboxs account... is there anyway to solve this or do i just lose it all...

You didnt lose anything just switch to the other sub-account since you merged you now have 2 accounts and it switched to the new one with nothing. Just look at the top of the screen on the character select screen and switch to the other account you might have to make a new character and then log out to character select screen and then switch to the other account.

Thank you for letting me know the support team let me know as well I was unaware you could change the sub account on the xbox itself
