Cannot finish Kirac's A Call to Arms

Hi,

I have already activated the device with the map to the Academy provided by Kirac but I cannot advance (did not manage to kill the boss though I was given multiple tries).

No, that map given by Kirac was the first ever map I activated. Wasn't that the narrative?

Sorry, I didn't know that you have to finish a boss kill before you can finish the quest.

Managed to do that with another map. So I'm fine here.
