Ralakesh's impatience bug 3.27

Something very strange happens to my character (still in campaign). I have ralakesh's impatience as well as badge of the brotherhood, but when I reach max power charges, they 0, and so do my frenzy charges. What's going on?

My understanding is Malachai's Loop consumes all your charges when you reach max power charges. But as long as you wear the boots, you still gain all the benefits like you had max power charges. Only annoying if you plan to consume the power charges, in which case you need to lose the shield.

Thanks for the reply. I got some updates:

1. the spell block chance in my defence tab is unchanged at 55%, which means that power charges count as maximum regardless of what the screen counter says.

2. I finally reached level 68 and equipped graven's secret belt. Now my power charges always appear max on the counter, probably because I am not gaining power charges as per the belt's description.

Are you sure that's Power Charge icon and not Absorption icon? They are both blue orb icons.

The last line of Graven's:
Gain Absorption Charges instead of Power Charges

So from what I'm understanding, you shouldn't be able to gain Power Charges at all, you just gain Absorption Charges and Loop only removes Power Charges, not Absorption. So they can remain maxed as long as you have a source of Power charge generation and enemies don't have remove charges on hit.
