PS5, already at mapping and can't mine in Kingsmarch

I spoke with John at Karui's Shore and in Kingsmarch, and everything works (farming, shipping, disenchanting, even mapping) but I have yet to receive any ore to mine and then smelt.

Have you encountered any ore in maps yet?

If you have miners assigned, they'll start mining as soon as you complete your first ore encounter.

Until then, they have nothing to mine.

And they only mine ore you find.

Do you have ore blocked on your atlas tree? (via the Miner's Strike notable)

You can always force Ore to appear by using a scarab and/or paying for the map device option. (if you're early in map progression, you might not have the map device option unlocked yet)

I have not encountered ore in any tier map.

I do have 5 miners mining each type of ore, and nothing. I've removed them and reapplied them, took them off for over a day. Still nothing.

I do not have ore blocked on my atlas.

What do I search for when shopping for scarabs?

You will have nothing to mine until you find them randomly in your maps they are not common unless you block the other content via atlas tree or use scarab to garantee ore deposits in your maps
