no option to use map pouch currency on strongboxes/essence mobs on controller UI

I've noticed some streamers recently showcasing that you can put currency in the "map pouch" on the map device, and use it to craft strongboxes/essence mobs without having to carry said currency with you in the map.
This functionality appears to be entirely missing on controller UI, with no icons shown on said mobs/boxes. I even left a map and switched to keyboard UI and the icons appeared and worked as expected, but on switching back to controller they're gone again.

EDIT: nevermind, seems this is not intended behaviour on keyboard UI and will be removed soon. That said, it would be much cooler if it was intended.
