Quality max searching removes 0 quality from search
|
Was trying to look at Taming Rings and noticed that if you add any value to the max quality column besides 0, it removes all searches with 0 quality.
Taming with 0 to 20 quality Instant Buyout, 1108 results: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Keepers/nrkGP8m2C0 Taming with 0 quality, 3087 results: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Keepers/zb9W9o0mh4 Taming with 0 to 19 quality, 68 results: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Keepers/8rkzKjn8IV Similar issue when doing another random quality ring like Call of the Brotherhood at 0-19 quality, only 24 results. 2000+ with 0 quality: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Keepers/V5LY7olrip Last bumped on Nov 12, 2025, 5:07:21 PM

Putting 0 in max means no quality. Putting anything else means has quality and it is less than X.

he is talking about the min value (or more like he doesn't understand the error is in min value)
0-19 should show all no quality and all quality up to 19% but in reality you have to have min empty and max 19 instead of min 0 max 19 edit: nvm even empty-19 shows low amount of results. idk just because you have a number in max should not remove results that have 0 quality that is not intuitive and makes also no sense Last edited by Medivha#7070 on Nov 12, 2025, 12:22:25 PM

" Yep, this is what I hoping to bring to light. UI says one thing, but the search does it differently. And unless you're someone who catches onto the missing results, there's no user feedback that a lot of results are essentially being hidden because they are 0 quality. My suggestion would be to either have the minimum field working or maybe replace it with a drop-down of has quality (yes/no) with some other way to refine the quality further if needed, but I'm going to assume this is working as designed and start dual tab searching when I need to be picky about quality. |
