Cant Smelt Iron Bar at Kingmarch

Hi ,
I can not open Dannig to Smelt a bar
Please help

Have you previously enabled Kingsmarch operations (in this league) by completing the initial quest and are you trying to speak with Dannig in Kingsmarch (it sounds like you are from your post)?

You should be able to speak to Dannig as soon as you complete the Recruiting and Manage Town quest points (Exploring Kingsmarch) with Raulf and Johan, when you first enter Kingsmarch at the end of the campaign. You must recruit at least one worker.

If you are at this point in the initiation of Kingsmarch, and can't speak to Dannig (no exclamation mark), try selecting "Manage Town" from Johan and place gold in the town treasury.


After you have spoken to Dannig in Kingsmarch, he would normally unlock the "Smelting Information" Board to the left of him on the screen. You would interact with this board to assign workers to smelt ore, at which point they would start to smelt any ore you have collected as long as there is sufficient gold in the town treasury.

You can also assign smelters using the "Manage Town" or "Town Map" interface by clicking on the various smelting options to the right of the screen and assigning workers to them. This can only be done while in Kingsmarch.

In all cases, you will also need to have sufficient gold deposited into the Town Treasury in order for assigned work to be completed (also done from the Manage Town / Town Map interface). You would also need to have collected ore from deposits in the game (by assigning miners to collect it and completing their encounters).

If you are aware of all of this and just have an issue following the normal process, I'm not trying to be pedantic. The mechanics in poe are not always intuitive. Having more information about where you are at would help someone to better understand your issue.
