Foulborn Rigwald's Savagery axe mod not working with Varunastra

I have both these equipped and I should have at least 100% accuracy on the axe, if not both, right?

The mod on the axe says "Your melee hits can't be evaded while wielding a sword" and Varunastra's is a sword.

edit: I think it might be just be on the character stat screen, I'm not missing any hits
