Immortal totem mob?

I was farming Glacier map using the div card cloister scarab and in the ritual encounter there always seems to be a totem mob called billowing totem that is immune to any damage, which makes the ritual encounter never ending and I was locked in the ritual encounter, this has happened multiple times, I am playing impending doom pathfinder, please help/investigate into this.
