When starting ritual and expedition at the same time expedition cancels and finishes

So I had a spot in the map where there was both a ritual and an expedition at the same place... so somehow I placed the bomb or mine i forgot what's it called and when i wanted to press detonate I pressed the ritual start but I also pressed the detonate button, so when I finished the ritual the expedition mobs were nowhere to be seen but all the chests were there ready to loot like I finished it.
