Scroll ribbon in the "Search Items" drop-down menu not working

Scroll ribbon in the "Search Items" drop-down menu not working when clicking on it. When you click on it it closes the drop-down menu as if you click outside of it. You can't scroll by dragging the scrolling ribbon, only with the mouse wheel.
