Abyss "fails" to continue when it goes to a dead-end, resulting in a "fail" for Valdo Maps

Was doing a Necropolis Valdo Map with the condition that i have to complete abysses. The abyss went into a dead end, and since it cant go backwards, it ended abruptly, failing the task of the map and costing me 100 divines. This bug is in the game ever since the introduction of Valdo Maps and costs a lot of people hundreds of divines every league. Can you please fix it. The abyss finished, i got the chest, but it still didnt count as "completed" for the sake of Valdo Map condition.
