Identical items / non-random loot seed?

Didn't see this reported when I searched. I don't believe it's an item duplication exploit because the item in question is not worth much and belongs to many different sellers.

Observed result:
I see 6 jewels identical in name and explicits, varying only in item level. These are spread across 6 different accounts.

Expected result:
There's no crafting method or game mechanic I'm aware of that would result in these nearly-identical jewels. They're not mirrored. They're not the same item level, so didn't come from the same archnemesis mob. They don't belong to the same seller (and don't have great mods) so unlikely to be a dupe done intentionally by a human. There are too many for it to be a joke made by divining jewels to the same value. I think it indicates some bug. Maybe with some way item affixes are seeded?
