So if my SSF HC character dies after completing the game do I have to do all the npcs quests again?

This happened to me my HC SSF character died in a map and I merge all the stuff to softcore trade but I'm now seeing that all the special npcs quest are reseted and even the Lords Labyrinth is now asking me to do the trials again, is this normal?

Yes, progress is tied to league, not character.
