flamecaller xophgraft doesnt trigger when ussing leap slam of groundbreaking

On the graft it says " Attaking with this graft equiped triger the pyre and cover enemies on ash " leap slam of groundbraking have the attack tag , i dont get why it doesnt work , does anyone know? its supposed to work or no ?

Wanted to bump this as I just encountered this as well. Kind of screws up my end game planning since I swapped from Shield Charge (where it works as expected) to Leap Slam (where it is broken).
