Installer not working on Windows 7

I've been playing Path of Exile on Windows 7 and it's been working fine, but with 3.27 there was a bug with the updater, preventing it from working with Windows 7. This was hotfixed already, but unfortunately I messed up and started uninstalling/reinstalling the game thinking there was something wrong with my install. Now, the current version of the installer I downloaded from Pathofexile.com gives me the same error as the installer gave previously "The procedure entry point getsystemcpusetinformation could not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll", so seemingly the current installer is not supporting Windows 7 either. Now I cannot install the game at all.
Is it possible to get an older version of the installer that supports Windows 7 to actually install the game and play again?
