Quad Stash Tabs unable to be Merchant Tabs

I only used quad stash tabs for my selling tabs for years at this point (approx 12 of them) while i only have 2 purchased normal premium tabs. the fact that i need to buy whole new market tabs to sell my stuff with async is ridiculous as quad stash tabs should be able to be converted just as normal ones can.

If anything, at least, it should give you 3 or 4 for 1 quad tab.

This probably presents them with the same problems as converting 4 premium stash tabs to a quad tab (which has been requested countless times by numerous people over the years since they introduced quad tabs). It's running up against hard problems with how they engineered the stash and these tabs and there's probably no way to do such conversions without rewriting the whole item stash system from scratch, which is definitely not an option for them.

how is it any different from the conversion from legacy premium tabs to merchants tabs? Everybody says this is a "technical limitation" but they flawlessly executed the other conversion, replacing all instances of the converted tabs with a remove-only version. I converted 8 tabs this way without issue.

They don't even have to change anything - there's no reason they, with minimal new code, couldn't just jury-rig the existing merchants tab conversion system, convert 4 premium tabs to merchants tabs as the existing system does, then immediately delete the 4 new merchants tabs and credit the account with a quad tab, bam there you go, 10 year requested feature suddenly implemented, entirely without incident.

Kind of complaining about / requesting the opposite of what OP is talking about but every other thread I could find on the subject was archived. God I just want a way to get rid of the 24 standard tabs I purchased in 2013 other then converting them to an equally useless and large number of premium tabs.
