Traded with some guy and now my latency is horrible

It is exactly what it says. I traded with some guy and now my latency is at minimum 200 and keeps randomly jumping to 2000.

Sounds like they were playing on a different gateway, so you had to connect to theirs to be able to trade. Did this persist through going to your Hideout and entering Maps?

I know it is normal for latency to tank if you connect to a farawar gateway, the problem is that the latency remained terrible once I returned to my HO in my gateway. No clue why it happened, restarts didn't help, changing gateway didn't help. Only restarting my modem solved the issue.
