Quality of Life | Left Mouse Button - Enable Hold
| Hello, I'm currently sorting through the tabs on Standard. I wanted to solve an inventory sorting issue before the new league launches. As I learned from game streamers (Zizaran and others), you can use the mouse wheel macro setting to quickly swap Single Copies (Scarab, Oils, Divination Cards, COMMON MAPS and etc.). Up and Down are responsible for mouse clicks. But I have a mouse with Sharp* separations, so I can't scroll like players with the "Unlocked" mouse wheel. And I don't want to. That's a device violation. I asked GGG_Support "Will creating a PERSONAL macro (Not to be shared or disclosed) with the setting "Press the same key combination (LMB) every 0.5-1.5 seconds while holding the button down" be a violation of the terms of use? (To avoid server load) If yes, please provide the timings so that this doesn't cause unnecessary problems for the server. If no, then please explain how players aren't banned for using the mouse wheel macro. (Violating the terms of service)" And Answer was: "In general, we do not encourage the creation or use of third-party tools because they provide advantages for players that use them. I'm afraid, due to the dynamics of our policies, we're unable to guarantee if a tool is allowed or would remain allowed in the future. I would recommend refraining from creating or using any program that automates gameplay or does more than one action with a keystroke or mouse click as well as anything that interacts with the game client to provide an advantage over other players or provide information that isn't normally visible." And the idea came to mind about Equalization* of players using the built-in "Hold Mouse Button" setting, which will eliminate 2 problems. 1 - Macros 2 - Wear of gaming accessories. We can hold down the "game" keys on the keyboard for the "Channel" skill. So why not add a setting that says, "When you hold down the left mouse button for a certain amount of time, it's automated" like in Dota 2?
