Merge accounts / MTX from 2 accounts

I stopped using my original steam account for poe1 that has all my mtx from the last 10 years. I made a new stand alone client account to avoid the issues I was having on my steam account. Is it possible to merge these accounts so I have access to all my MTX while also not keeping the guild/friends associated with the steam account?

I emailed support and they stated they couldn't remove my account from others off the friends list even if i removed them from mine. (for those wondering, it's work related so and the ppl on the list are my managers and coworkers)
