Random person offered several hundred divine currency to me should I be worried?

Not sure if there is a duping issue or what but random person gave me a large number of divines and said good luck. Just want to see if there is a duping issue or bug going around, if I should drop these out of my inventory or what. Thank you!

Suspicious activity is more likely in new leagues, where a small number of players can have large amounts of currency. Right now, the league is over and most currency has been transferred to Standard, where it often holds little value for many players. That’s why some players are just giving it away to those playing in Standard.

my guess: end of league character cleaning out his stash and not caring about standard, giving away high tier items and raw currency to noobs in act 1.
