Issue with controller main action button and item/npc interaction.
| There is a pretty big issue with items and interactable things and having a skill on the main button (A for XBox controller). It seems the range for when interacting takes priority over using your skill is too high. You may be a few meters away from item or NPC, and pressing A, the game wants to interact, but it is out of range but you don't use your skill. Items on the ground become very problematic, often requiring running away from items so you can actually cast spells. Another issue is the visual placement of item text is very commonly far away from the actual item location, making it impossible to pick up. The only fix is running very far away and coming back, or going to town and back to reset. A strict loot filter helps, but the issue still happens with as few as 2-3 items on screen. Suggestions to fix: Have option to have skill take priority over interaction, like it used to be, with a way to override. It used to be, so sometimes it was a bit hard to pickup stuff with monsters around, but at least you didn't die because your character couldn't cast main spell or use main attack. Have option to disable certain NPC interaction late game, such as Niko in maps after collecting sulphite. If you are out of pickup/interaction range, have character move closer instead of just doing nothing at all while monster kills you and your character sits there doing nothing. This is how it is in other ARPGs. Increase pickup range. Issue with item text being wildly out of sync with actual item location desperately needs fixed.
