Why the is not a 2FA setting on accounts yet ?
When this will be implemented ?

But I agree that this is something that GGG should offer to the players. Many people, myself included, own a lot of virtual items as well as the accolades collected over many leagues of playing the game intensely. A little more account security would go a long way, really

It's a must have feature; no matter how you play, what you have.

Which is only required whenever your router resets the IP or you log in from a different location, which can easily be bypassed / tricked

The reason they've given afaik is that the didn't want to deal with users locking themselves out of their account with 2FA.

Huh, as someone that is behind a CGNat, I have to deal with location change warnings most of the time, and yet, not a single e-mail was sent to me to confirm it was me.

I guess if someone finds out my password I'm screwed.

This is basic online security at this point...

Edit: what I find hilarious (in a sad way) is seeing Chris release a video on online game security, and yet here we are, 2025 and GGG hasn't implemented a single method of 2fa.

So, "dear" GGG, have you got an answer for us ?!

I demand account security !

It's not a "moral" thing, it's not a "fancy" thing; it's a MUST have thing!

PS: I think is useless for me to explain you the risks and the mechanics of how and why a 2FA is the 1st must-have step into the accounts security and integrity. But, if you need technical advises I can give you (for free) for the better good. Just let me know.
