Give Original Poster of Threads the Ability to Turn Off Comments

Title says it. Give the person who started a thread the ability to close the thread by turning off comments. When an issue has been solved, either by an answer from a player or from a patch by GGG, the thread should be closed.

Currently, many threads stay open and continue to grow, filled with arguments and unrelated conversation.

This dilutes the thread, and makes it much less useable for a player who finds the thread later while searching for information.


Forum mods: Would prevent abuse of this power, by going through and deleting threads that they see people have opened and closed without resolution for the sake of making a statement without rebuke/comment.
