Support Unresponsive for Months
|
Hey everyone,
I’m posting on behalf of a friend whose account has been locked for a few months now. They’ve been trying to get in touch with GGG support through email for around 3–4 months, but haven’t gotten any replies or updates yet. They’re getting really anxious about it, especially with the 3.27 patch coming out soon — they’ve been super excited for it and really just want to jump back into the game. We’re not sure what’s going on — whether the emails aren’t going through or if there’s a backlog — but it’s been quite a while and they’d really appreciate any help or guidance. Has anyone experienced something similar or know a better way to reach GGG when support seems unresponsive for this long? Any advice would mean a lot! Thanks in advance for your time and help ❤️ Nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Last bumped on Oct 24, 2025, 1:23:43 PM

Hey there, if they have already contacted us at support@grindinggear.com, we will respond to them as soon as we can. We are currently working through a large number of support requests, but please rest assured we will get back to them as soon as possible.

The last time I've seen any posts from someone who recovered an account was 4-6 months ago. Around then several people reported needing 4+ email exchanges with 4-6 weeks between each exchange.
Beyond some preliminary information gathering, account recovery isn't done by the normal support staff and is one of several support tasks that remain massively backlogged well after they've caught up on most issues. Has your friend been sending periodic "did you get my last email" type followups? The awful system GGG uses sorts by most recently sent email, not oldest email not replied to; so if they've been doing that they unwittingly have kept moving themself to the end of the queue. If they haven't done so, it seems likely that emails are getting lost in one direction. In that case, I'd suggest checking the spam folder, and if nothing is found starting over from a different email address. Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? |
