When will POE1 be optimized?
| Everything is coming, I appreciate it!! But how long will we continue playing at 15fps? Other games can take the effects down to the smallest detail. Also, to make skills transparent. Many players can't afford to buy a new PC every time you release a new season. It's unbelievable that you're adding more and more effects. Never lend a hand to your people with this issue. | GGG releases new leagues at a pace that outstrips the rollout of new hardware, so the whole “buy a new PC every season” argument doesn’t quite hold water. What really stands out is your mention of running the game at 15 FPS, it strongly suggests that your current system is either quite dated or simply not designed for gaming, perhaps more of a standard office setup. At this point, an upgrade seems overdue, as the game performs smoothly on a reasonably modern gaming rig, even with components that are a few years old. In other words, this isn’t a question of the game’s performance, it’s a matter of your hardware catching up. | What games can you run that has more than 15 fps? It will help to give perspective on your arguments. | |
| It doesn't run at only 15fps for me. What's your setup? I agree in part with your sentiment though! I'd love to get a performance boost. | 15 FPS suggests you don't have engine multithreading enabled, or you do and your CPU is older than the 11 year old one I've got. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! | The better question is: when will improving your computer hardware provide a benefit to see what is actually happening on screen? The game has always had zero visual clarity with no contrast in its model and environment design right from the first area of twilight strand. Whether you play at 15 FPS or 60 FPS you have zero visual clarity. | |
| I don't think the concept was understood. For example, when you play with friends, it's never a good thing. Guys, I've been following this game since 2010, and I know what I'm talking about. Other titles are graphically intensive, but you can always turn off all the graphics to make it acceptable. Look, we're not talking about technical stuff here, and I don't need you to tell me anything like that. Here I'm talking about how the game never offered good optimization. I play it well, but everything is in low resolution, even though that's not enough, and I have a lot of mods, and no PC can handle it. | There are services like GeForce now, boosteroid, etc. I have used for over two years now, saving myself the cost of an expensive PC, I have no performance issues and haven't since using these things. Geforce is great but there is a monthly cap, Boosteroid has no cap and is cheaper. 14.99/Mo with cap 9.99/Mo no cap ★ Forum Threads ★ ★ Unlock Sandwraith Kill Tracker #3461595 ★ ★ Deli Music Off #3450767 ★ ★ Bestiary QOL #3380585 (HAS BEEN ADDRESSED!!!!
