this reveal was the most boring one in my history of nine years playing POE.
Also, the Q&A was boring and not interesting at all... basically just talking about non-streamlined and unguided stuff for 2 hours.

Do we have anything new here ?

We have had Breach already for years, and the "new" League Mechanic is essentially Breach... You can call this a Breach Rework but not a new mechanic?

Things like this used to be a Side Note during previous reveals.

Where is Wildwood Expansion?
Sentinel Expansion?
Expedition Expansion and so on ?

The patch notes don't look any better.

These are the laziest, most uninspired, and most passionless notes ever.

Heist Rework ?
No Penance Brand Nerf?
No real Trickster Nerf?
No rebalancing?
Just minor Atlas Tree changes (only remove Breach...but don't add anything new?).
New Scarabs?
Passive Skill Tree unchanged since many leagues (no Cluster Jewels or Mastery Updates - something similar)!
Where is any Endgame Update? Like new Voidstones, shifting the whole Atlas to something new and fresh?

How many 3s Expansions we are getting?
Why not 4?

I really wonder what you have done in the last four, I repeat, four Months?`
How many people work on Poe One? One ?

to be honest i do think the breach 2 content was good enough just that the community has become more ravenous, expecting more.

I disagree. Patch looks sick as fuck.
Im ok with them updating and modernizing old league mechanics and this one looks pretty cool at a base level so I disagree with you there.

I will say I was a bit underwhelmed with the balance changes. I thought we were gonna get some small number changes for a lot of skills and some heavier taps for EE/ES stuff.
well.. going 'ballistic' has to mean something different in different parts of the world. because these patch notes tiptoe around erogenous stuff and avoid any drastic changes to player power - it is more like tossing a rock, rather than a ballistic missile


Trickster - the only nerf that matters is min action speed from 108 to 90. it is still T17 jail free card, difference between build that can do anything vs the pleb rest (Risk scarabs are STILL going to be best multipliers so no running away from them)

The ES leech changes.. are minor and easy to adjust to. ES overleech and huge ES numbers are what made Trickster strong

ES in general remains THE way to play this game: it is the best defence, it forms the best offence (Energy Blade), it is easiest to scale (base numbers + multipliers + INT stacking) and all of that is so synergistic you wonder why people still even consider 'red ES' as a valid choice

Minions got an INSANE buff with the spectre and accuracy change without any nerf to compensate. attack minions just got several affixes worth of free power - as if they ever needed it in the first place

they cut down 'omega farms' but Im pretty sure the 'growing on the tree daily login' aka shipping 2.0 will make up for that

so where are the major changes? the build list remains unchanged (well, BAMA died for no f.. reason), the Trickster, FRoSS, ES/EB casters - it is all the same

Phrecia ascendancies spread thin in new trees are nice idea - but the execution seems like an excessive bloat and a very binary choice (albeit - it is great for classes like Gladiator that kinda have 2 good nodes for non-bleed builds)

in all I expected bold changes - esp in two major areas ES and attribute stacking. nothing happened so nothing changes
As for me, i would be happy with this league if they release only async trade. But they also make new league mechanic and ascendancies and lots of more small stuff. Quite good for 2 month of development.
They said in the Interview that Asynch Trade was not a big deal.
They basically just copy paste from POE2.

Same for the "new" Breach ...they copy paste from Breach Monsters from Poe2

But now you can only run 1 of them, which is huge lol.

wasnt expecting much with poe 2 being 2 years late on schedule.

new skills always pog. (no melee though)

and maybe this time interacting with the tree is not as ass as necropolis
