What did the MacOS version get for this update?

I just updated the game, and it no longer work after the update, but I looked on the patch which added a Silicon support which is amazing as I use M4 Pro, but the question is which is better using an emulated Win version on the Mac or use the Native one after this update (hopefully they fix the crash)
