Phys DoT needs some love

The Gladiator rework in 3.25 completely removed all synergy with generic physical damage over time for both the class itself and also the Ascendant version, replacing it all with bleed-specific effects. They instead each got a node that gives a more multiplier to hits and ailments - exactly the types that don't apply to phys DoT spells like Reap, Exsanguinate, and now in 3.26 Storm Call of Trarthus.

There are now exactly zero sources of synergy with phys DoT in any ascendancy. The non-ailment cold, fire, and chaos DoT spells each have some synergy in at least one of the ascendancies. Physical damage over time spells are clearly the worst off of the bunch.

Why release a potentially fun new phys DoT spell in the patch directly following a massive nerf to phys DoT spells? They weren't even all that strong beforehand. Do you plan to make this archetype even baseline playable again in the future?

Thematically a SPELL phys DoT playstyle fits into some type of witch or shadow ascendancy. The assasin rework should have fit in phys dot (not "bleed") bonuses somewhere.
