Currency Echange fee

The gold fee when converting divine orbs to exalted or any high value currency is too much, on the other hand when converting exalted to divine is affordable. I think it should be the same amount.

Yeah that's weird, why would the gold price ever be different for 2 different directions of the same currencies? Should be the same +1

I believe the asymmetric cost is a compromise between player QoL and an effort to halt/discourage arbitrage (currency flipping).

If the cost was low for both sides of the transaction, there would be more incentive for players to repeatedly convert between the two for profit.

If the cost was high for both sides, you would just be sad about the high cost of using the currency exchange.

You do not want them to be the same, as GGG will lean towards the higher cost, rather than lower cost.

This is the answer. It's necessary (and good) friction to ensure, or rather make an attempt, a accessible playing field for all players.
