Map stash tab functionality - QOL improvement update please

It would be very nice if we had a button to upgrade lower tier maps into the next tier just like we can upgrade essences in an essence tab, they can go directly in inventory so no need to reconfigure the way the map tab works or looks.

It still wouldn't be the perfect QOL improvement but it would be quite the step-up and quite simple to change.

A slighly better way would be to upgrade them to next but don't change the current selection of tier/map so we can shift click everything.

And even better, do the previous suggestion but include a button that upgrades ALL maps of that name+tier in one go.

How would this decide to which map it will upgrade to?

Given that I have four Maps of Tier n, there are four destinct combinations of maps for the trade which can all result in a different Map in Tier n+1.
If I have 5 Maps this is allready 10 destinct combinations.

How would your upgrade button choose the combination? If I upgrade a lot of maps at once I may aim for certain Maps in Tier n+1 in order to establish a new set of three maps to convert to Tier n+2.

This is not a streamlining for QoL but would remove player angency over the resulting maps in the process.

As far as I'm aware, we already don't get to choose, you vendor 3 of the same map and you get a randomized map from the next tier pool, we do not get to choose as it is... Besides idk what youre talking about because lets say you only run t16s and you want to upgrade all your t11s+ you would just do it as fast as possible because otherwise it would take you literally an hour if you had like 200 t11-12-13-14s

If you have 4x Tier 1 maps, and put 3 in the vendor window lets say that Tier 2 Gardens shows up. You can remove a tier 1 from the sell window and add the other tier 1, that t2 map that you would get then changes to a different one. You can use this method to manipulate which map you get from a 3-to-1 vendor recipe. It helps a lot when trying to get missing map completions on your atlas and you don't feel like paying 1c for a white map or kirac just doesn't have it in his missions/shop.

That's why I always wait for a bunch of the same low-tier map to stack up, then try and vendor them in many different combinations until I get the 1(or more) maps that I'm missing.

If this QOL was added on top of the game, and you could still vendor maps manually I wouldn't mind it as a quick way to upgrade maps just to get some yellow/red maps to quickly chain-run for whatever reason you may want to though. As long as the vendor recipe isn't deleted I think it would be a fine addition.

First of all the recipe is 3 of the same map = 1 random higher tier map.. Secondly you're telling me if you're just trying to run t16s and upgrade all lower tiers to t16 you would literally take the time to add and remove maps to get the random map of your choosing? For what? Why would you even waste your time and effort doing this? do you know how many tier 11's it takes to make just a couple t16s? You will stop and fiddle at the shop at each triplet in order to get the result you wanted? It makes literally no sense in my mind but you do you, its your game time and its your logic.

I'm saying the vendor recipe is useful in atlas progression, it is absolutely worth it to check every combination of maps because you can get one you're missing. A reason I could have to upgrade maps to a specific t11, maybe one of them is Beach and I wanna chain-run a bunch of Beach maps.

Also I never vendor maps up to t16, why would I ever do that when all the natural t16 maps in the game usually suck? In endgame you run your favorited map 95% of the time. At some point I over-sustain so much that I have to put my extra Mesa maps into a new tab because I already have 72 of them in my map tab. I've never had to vendor t15s into t16s just to run them for rewards(except at the very start of a league after getting 2 voidstones, just to start dropping my favorite map), because I'm swimming in my favorited map.

The vendor recipe is 3 of the same map, so 3x strands would vendor for a higher tier one. But if you swap out one of the strands for a different strand in your inventory, the resulting map changes. That's super useful for early atlas progression.

Right, and nobody would be forcing you to mass upgrade via this functionality, you can still do that for atlas progression, and there would be still reasons to run natural t16s, besides they change every league don't they?

Well yeah, that's why I said I wouldn't mind this qol if its just an addition and optional. I'm not against them adding an upgrade button to the map tab.
i don't think they will ever add that because you can just completely fill the map stash of maps you don`t want to force a certain outcome.

That could be prevented
