FIXED! Wisdom scrolls no longer needed! (SPHINX in Hideout should use Wisdom Scrolls from Stash)

The Sphinx Hideout decoration should use your wisdom scrolls in your stash instead of only working if you have scrolls in your inventory.

I know wisdom scrolls won't be needed soon, but in the meantime, can we please have the Sphinx use your Stash currency(wisdom scrolls) just like any vendor NPC takes from your stash?

Thank you GGG!

It's hinted in the supporter pack video for the Sphinx Hideout decoration
I genuinely doubt even GGG is gonna sell you an MTX that utilizes a game element they intend to remove, let alone "hint" at that removal in the promo for that very MTYX. =9[.]9=

LOL, ok...

Nothing about Scrolls of Wisdom being removed from the game. It would kinda make IDing items "out in the field" impossible, otherwise. ='[.]'=

haha, Your post did not age well.. and it took like what, a week?
To be fair, I feel you misunderstood my words, so I fixed the sentence to make it more clear. I figure wed still use them to buy stuff like in Act 1, but not need them for IDing anything. Thanks for joining and bumping up my post, I appreciate the help!

Enjoy the game!

My brother in Christ - your post had literally nothing whatsoever to do with this change.

Let's consider some relevant factors;

  • You posted half a month prior to a major release. By this point, they will have already entered Feature Freeze and they will be unwilling to include even planned additions into pre-release builds used by their QA Engineers. Anything that's not already in is getting pushed back as it will not be possible to perform adequate testing. Only the most profoundly essential changes such as fixing issues with the new Challenge League encountered during playtesting would be exempt from this.
  • Half a month away from launch, they'll be at their busiest - there is absolutely no prospect of random developers sitting around looking for things to do, as you appear to be assuming.
  • Feedback gets considered through a process where Community Managers gather it, categorise and even sub-categorise it, add notes such as how widely-discussed it has been and the general sentiment expressed towards it, and then this documented feedback is considered periodically. For QoL-focused UI changes and the like, this might happen two times a year. Feedback is neither blindly acted upon by individual developers, nor do they actively discuss each forum thread as it is posted. They just don't have the capacity to spend that much time in meetings.
  • Given that builds need to be submitted to Sony and Microsoft about a week prior to launch so that they can be validated and approved in time - as far as GGG is concerned, the update essentially launches a week before we get to begin downloading it.
  • You posted this on Friday; it is now Wednesday. When do you think they were working on this, exactly? The weekend?

It's not in my nature to be discouraging - but good lord, the attitude towards Raycheetah is totally out-of-hand. They're a former moderator of this very forum; with respect, you don't have greater insight into GGG and their processes than he does.
