i wanna link my account to my steam account

Hello,
I have the problem that i bought path of exile 2 on this account and when i tried to link it to my steam account i saw that there was already an account linked to it its my old account so i decided to delete it since i dont want it anymore but i still cant link my steam account to this one. Is there any way that i can do it now since i dont wanna wait 30 days to finally play path of exiles 2 i have a sleepover planned in the next week where we all wanted to paly path of exiles 2 which is also the reason on why i bought it in the first place
please someone help me
