What to play in POE 1 on October 31st??

I have played several leagues. I love minions, totems, cyclone, Arc, Spark, Lightning Strike, Spectral Shield Trhow, and Bleed Lacerate. I have also played other builds. I know everyone will come through and be like "wait til patch notes" but guess what..... I have not waited for patch notes for several leagues and have been successful almost everytime. There is only one build i tried to do that wasnt successful and that was scorching Ray with whatever the Rain of Fire stuff is and that was really only because i didnt make enough currency early game. Let me know some good builds you have played and if they are fun. I hope everyone has a fun league and looking forward to the feedback :)

I'm considering life stack chieften or lowlife RF or Shield Crush champion Armour stack that's about it for right now. Basically leveling with fire skills or slams I guess I might just full yolo level with shield crush for the lulz. I also plan to level as anything that's new if it looks fun enough.

I didn't want to play champion this league because it was going to be meta and items would be expensive. If it's less meta next league I'm def leaning towards it.

My build choice in merc league for a league starter was way too ambitious and just generally had no dps early on so it was a real struggle I had to reroll basically after getting to yellow maps. I don't think I'll make that mistake again for a while.

I'm going to roll a d7 to pick class, and then roll a d3 to decide if I take the left, middle, or right option for the transfigured gem in the first lab.

If spells get buffed lots of build options open up for me like spark or bv. Not that I super expect spells to get buffed I'm not really expecting much in terms of balance tbh.
