Maybe it is time for a major update focused purely on performance improvement.

Pretty much what the title says.
Tired of random load times when I am on a gigabit fibre line and having a 16ms average latency. Tired of random stutters and frame drops even when there are no vfx going on. Tired of dodge roll mechanics getting you stuck in terrain or mobs. Tired of drastic FPS drops going to other player hideouts - even if they have almost nothing placed down. Tired of some monsters and bosses getting stuck in a infinite respawn. Tired of Bleeding Hearts in trials putting you in a infinite stun loop even if the stage is cleared disabling your controls (besides escape and restart). This is just from tonight. My point is that every effect, model, etc. could be in beautiful high res and buttery smooth. None of would that matter for YOU because the game is designed top to bottom graphically to have NO CONTRAST. This starts immediately from the zombies and crabs on the twilight strand. If you spend an appreciable amount of time thinking "what is attacking me?" before attacking it, you are already dead.
